Well & Sick Child Appointments
Well Child Appointments
Serenity Pediatrics follows the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommended schedule of well-child visits and recommendations for preventive pediatric health care.
It is important for your child to stay up to date with wellness visits according to the recommended schedule in order to ensure appropriate tracking of growth and development, staying up to date with routine immunizations and routine laboratory testing, performing routine hearing and vision screenings, administering developmental and mental health screenings, and to provide time to discuss any general concerns or questions you may have. In addition, having your child seen routinely can help to create a trusting relationship between the clinician, parent, and child.
